This is Jared working hard on his hop farm. His @vqhfarms tap takeover is happening here this Thursday. In one of these pics he’s brewing a beer with our pals at Muddy York. I’m not sure if that’s the reason Muddy York named the beer “Working Hard NEIPA” but it would seem like a strange coincidence. He loves to work hard. He bar manages at The Wren and in the spring, summer, and fall, works on his hop farm too. Even when he’s chillin’ he’s actually working hard. Like making beer or fermenting weird stuff or boxing or lifting big rocks. That’s relaxing for him. Lucky for us, that work/relaxing translated into a bunch of delicious beers. He helped brew 3 of the beers that will be tapped on Thursday. All 12 beers we’ll have on use hops that he farmed with his cousins in Eden Ontario. He also delivered a lot of those hops to the breweries himself. What a weirdo! Stop doing stuff! Heard of Facebook? We love Jared for his hard work but also because he’s a super good dude and it might just be me, but I feel like you can taste it in the hops. Thanks to Jared for putting this event together and thanks to all the brewers who made something special for the event. Hope to see you there. 📸 @addisb
