This is how my body looks at different periods of my life or sometimes throughout the day or week.
In the left picture, I’m a little bloated and my leggings are not highwaist. This was after eating a meal that I don’t normally eat.
The picture on the right was taken right after waking up. I wasn’t bloated and my leggings are higher on my waist.
My body is beautiful in both pictures.
My body does so many things for me regardless what it looks like.
-> My heart keeps the blood flowing through my body which circulates all the nutrients my cells need to strive
-> My lungs take in oxygen and release CO2 which is essential for my survival
-> My liver takes care of detoxing my body
-> My eyes allow me to see this beautiful world and my taste buds allow me to taste all the amazing food
My body works hard to keep me healthy and strong!
I’m super super grateful for that and out of respect for my body, I do my best to stay active, eat nutrient dense foods, sleep well and more and take time for myself.
I only have one body, and I don’t want to spend my life hating it, never feeling satisfied about how it looks.
Instead, I’m going to be grateful for all the things it does for me and in return I’m going to take care of myself and my body.
