Living in a castle, during the middle of winter, in Germany is not for the faint of heart. Some days its warmer outside than inside; when it's snowing, the only way to get warm is by constantly moving and keeping the fires blazing.
We learned more than we could have hoped for living with a family, who aren't that different than our family in Texas, and wish them all the best in their dream of restoring their piece of Deustchland history. .
