There's no place like home. #weroamhome
Been slowly settling into this small town at the southern tip of Germany for the past months & realizing just how lovely it's around here. Where do you call home at the moment?
When you can't travel to distant places, try and explore your own surroundings. You'd be surprised by what you can find within a 1 hour radius from where you live. Here's a photo from a small trip I did yesterday in my home country Belgium. #weroamhome
A black layer in front of your eyes. A wall built up. Dozens of branches limit your view. Exhausted you’re trying to figure out what’s behind. Something good? Something bad? You need to know it. But you know you’re limited. Poison for your mind.
Right when you wanted to close your eyes you notice a subtle light on the horizon. A shine. Gradually getting stronger. Illuminating the path of your eyes through the branches into the unknown. Turned into known. Thank you. Thank you moon. #weroamhome
And then there are these kind of routes.
The unofficial ones, the off grid, secret stuff. The ones you accidentally find yourself on to because you lost your way. Or maybe you were meant to get there.
Full nature, no people, hard work because you stomp your way with your snowshoes through fresh snow.
You don't know where you are because your cellular just freezed
But there is time. Lots of.
And then the nice lady who stops and picks you up near the street to drive you over two hills you apparently crossed :D
One beautiful life.
