FOOD FRIDAY!!! So previously, I posted the falafel balls recipe and this week I’m posting a falafel burger 🍔 and some sides! These were just too good so I had to make them again 😋
It’s quick, easy, and perfect for those summer cookouts that are right around the corner ☀️ For the burgers 🍔
1 can chickpeas (drained), 1 small onion (chopped), 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp parsley, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp chili 🌶 powder, 2 tbsp flour, & 2 tbsp olive oil.
1. Drain chickpeas
2. Add all ingredients (except oil) into a blender or food processor (add salt to taste). 3. Blend until smooth and mixed well.
4. Heat oil on medium in a pan.
5. Form mixture into patties and fry in skillet.
6. You’ll need to turn them to make sure they’re nice and browned evenly all over!
I don’t really use buns so I put the burgers on toasted bread, added vegan cheese 🧀, vegan mayo, mustard, lettuce, and a tomato 🍅 •
Sweet potato 🍠 fries
Chop one sweet potato into fries, coat in a little olive oil, season with salt, paprika, and parsley. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes on 375 until desired crispness 🍟 •
I literally microwaved these from the can and added salt 😂
