Preheat the oven to 175C/350F. Coat a 12-count donut pan with cooking spray and set aside. 2. In a large mixing bowl, add your blanched almond flour, 3 tbsp matcha and sweetener of choice and mix well. Set aside. 3. In a separate mixing bowl, add the rest of your ingredients and mix until combined. Add to your dry ingredients and mix until combined. 4. Divide the mixture amongst the donut pan, and fill each cavity until 2/3 full. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. 5. Allow cooling in the donut pan for 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Once set, dip in the frosting FROSTING METHOD 1. In a large mixing bowl, add your salted caramel 2. In a microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan, heat your coconut cream until warm. mix in matcha 3. Pour your coconut milk over the salted caramel. 💪Week 33💪 4/9 I never do sumo squats, let's just be clear. This is normally because they give my left hip hip. However, I've not tried them since getting my belt. So seeing as I'd finished with my heavier (1 rep) deadlifts, I thought I'd see how I felt in a belt trying them. Just as I expected, I don't grip my core enough, which is so visible here. You can see me try to engage, but if the belt wasn't there, I'd be in trouble. Even though I open and engage my chest/ back at the start for set up, it quickly goes under the weight. This could be because I'm not used to this still of deadlift, but it's interesting to watch what your form does versus what you think it does. It's always a learning curve! Made my favourite pancakes this morning 🥰 Yummy! Here’s what I used for Lemon & Poppy Seed pancakes: ✔️35g cane sugar ✔️35g sunflower spread, melted @vitalite ✔️50g yogurt @alpro ✔️40 ml oat milk ✔️6g egg replacer ✔️100g self raising flour ✔️10g poppy seeds ✔️10g baking powder ✔️Juice of 1 lemon ✔️Vanilla extract ✔️Grey sea salt Mix all ingredients and fry in coconut oil spray or on a non-stick pan with no oil on low/medium heat. Ending our 4th week of half marathon training with our longest training run so far, my dreaded 8km. All our runs so far have been between 3-6km but over the next few weeks they climb up to between 5-12km (this is just a beginner training plan from the internet, my first half marathon isn’t actually until September so plenty of time to get fit and ramp it up). The first 2km of this one was hard, the sun was hot, I had a stitch from all the jam toast I ate this morning but then I felt so strong and smashed my goal of just... completing the 8km. Now I’m home, showered, Mark is making creamy mushroom pasta for a late late lunch and I’m in the best headspace I’ve been in all weekend. Did a fun workout with my fav beach gal @jellesea🏝 We have both struggled so much with the pressure to look a certain way, and now in our mid-late 20s we have independently realised how important it us to train to feel GOOD in your body, as opposed to punishing it in the gym, and obsessively restricting our nutrition. . . My training now is focused on slowing down, performing movements with mindful intent, and challenging myself with new skills. . . This workout is designed to improve stability, ankle and knee mobility, strength and agility. Give it a crack if you're sick of leg extensions and hamstring curls like I am 😏💪

Vegan cake by @vanelja ❤️ Recipe: Ingredients Cake:⠀ ½ cup oat milk⠀ 4 tbsp ground flax seeds⠀ 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted⠀ ⅔ cup applesauce, unsweetened⠀ 1 tsp apple cider vinegar⠀ 1 tsp vanilla extract ⠀ 1 cup almond meal⠀ ⅔ cup oat flour (or grind rolled oats in the blender)⠀ ½ cup coconut sugar⠀ 2 tsp baking powder⠀ tiny pinch sea salt⠀ ⠀ Filling & on top:⠀ Coconut whipped cream or soy whip⠀ fresh berries⠀ banana⠀ almond flakes⠀ ⠀ Tin diameter: 16-18 cm / 6,5 - 7 inches⠀ ⠀ Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F degrees. Mix the oat milk and ground flax in a small bowl and leave to thicken for 10 mins. In the meantime measure the coconut oil, applesauce, apple cider vinegar and vanilla in a big bowl and stir well. Mix the almond meal, oat flour, coconut sugar, baking powder and salt in another bowl and mix then with the wet ingredients. Stir in also the flax gel. Grease a cake tin with coconut oil and pour in the cake dough. Bake for about 40-45 mins, until a toothpick comes out clean. Note that the texture of the cake should be a bit moist. Take the cake out of the oven and let cool completely. Split the cake in two with a sharp knife. Fill with coconut whipped cream or soy whip and banana slices. Set the other half on top of the lower half and frost the cake with coconut whipped cream or soy whip and place lots of fresh berries on top. Finalize with edible flowers. Enjoy!

STORY TIMEEEE ; when I was 13 I fainted in the shower.. After scans, bloodwork, and specialists appointments, I was diagnosed with chronic migraines. I've had the same migraine for 26 days, and today was finally the day that it beat me. I skipped the gym to take a couple tramacet and go back to sleep. I've felt like shit all day... But I still got up and got shit done. Yeah, it wasn't a two and a half hour morning work out. I have to say... this is easily one of the most BOMB vegan dishes I've put together since joining the Instagram world🌎🔥 Super shout out to @the_buddhist_chef for the original recipe! He's all vegan errthang so I definitely approve👌🏼🌿 . This is Orange Glazed Tempeh with a side of White Rice and Quinoa🍊🍚 I tweaked a few things from the recipe to my liking -- added toasted sesame seeds to the tempeh... added quinoa to the white rice... and used olive oil over vegetable oil👍🏼Vegan or non-vegan... you can't go wrong with this delicious masterpiece😊🙌🏼 Peep below on how to make this SUPER EASY meal: . 👉🏼Rice: I used my trusty rice cooker and added two cups of white rice, to one cup of quinoa. I used about 2 and a half cups of water, then seasoned with some sea salt. (Rice is the ONLY thing I measure out. I always eyeball everything else) . 👉🏼Tempeh: heat up in a pan some olive oil, chopped garlic, and ginger. Add in cubed tempeh, vegetable broth, soy sauce, orange marmalade (easily found in the jelly aisle at the store), green onions, and Sriracha. Mix all together and let reduce. It'll cook up and be done in less than 10 minutes. Remove when the liquids soak in and become a nice sauce. Top off with more green onions and toasted sesame seeds. . People think that dairy is a harmless animal byproduct; it’s not. Have you ever noticed that human women only produce breast milk after they’ve given birth? It’s the same for cows. Cows are repeatedly impregrated (*read, have a human arm forcibly inserted into their bodies), so they continue to produce milk. And it doesn’t end there. What do you think the dairy farms do with the male offspring? They don’t make milk, so it would certainly be a waste to keep them around. They sell them right off to the beef/veal industry. The dairy industry IS the meat industry. It may even be worse, as it’s managed to combine rape, forced child separation, and infanticide all into one pretty package. Vegan Recipe of The Day Creator Tagged In Photo 🥙 Smashed Avo and Baked Falafel Sandwich! 📷 by @cook.vegetarian 🚨🚨Falafel Recipe: 16 falafel 1 15 oz can chickpeas drained and rinsed ½ cup white onion finely diced 1 cup fresh parsley lightly packed 1 cup fresh cilantro lightly packed 1/2-1 tsp sea salt (to taste) ¼ tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp coriander 2 tsp cumin 2 tsp baking powder 2 TBS ground flaxseed 1 TBS olive oil for greasing your pan Instructions Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Add chickpeas, onions, parsley and cilantro to your food processor fitted with an “S” blade. Process until well combined (but still chunky). Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, coriander, cumin, baking powder and flaxseed. Process until well mixed and fine. (mixture will ball up in the processor). Generously grease a large baking sheet with oil (olive or canola). Roll about 2 TBS of falafel mixture into balls and place on baking sheet evenly spaced. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, flip and bake on second side for 10-15 minutes (until golden brown) HOLY GUACAMOLE. As you go through your spiritual awakening, you experience drastic changes. When these changes occur you go through uncomfortable situations and experience discomfort both physically and mentally. This discomfort is only temporary but it's changing you for the good. It's actually an upgrade, an upgrade of frequency. A frequency that's taking you to the next level of consciousness. Listen to your body, rest, drink lots of water and have some alone time. Just take it easy and be gentle with yourself mentally and physically. Forgive and forget and do what you love. This ascension is necessary because it's your higher self who is making changes to the physical and mental side of you. These ascensions has been going on for decades. Some people experience these symptoms in different ways. Some feel aches and pains in their body and some feel mentally fatigued, depressed, anxious etc... Some people may not even know or have any knowledge of what's going on in regards to these symptoms. Eventually, in time these symptoms will pass until the next evolution of consciousness is happening. GOALS? 🇬🇧 Sometimes I get asked what are my goals in matter of fitness? " Are you still trying to loose weight?" , "why do you train so much?" , " Shouldn't you eat more to grow muscles?" or even things such as " you look too skinny" , "you looked better before". . . . Well, let me tell you this : you don't need a reason to train. Of course I'd like to have the perfect body with the flat stomach and the big butt ,but I honestly don't care that much anymore. And of course, I'm happy when I see my muscle definitions in the mirror but it's not my priority. I train cause I like to be active, I want to be HEALTHY and not because I'm trying to get the perfect body. . . . Just also would like to remind you something : if it's not ok to tell someone you're too big/too fat or you're eating too much, it's also not ok to judge someone cause they look "too thin".They are ways to tell what you think and some of them are inappropriate and offensive😉.
