First light up at Knapps loch this am. This was pretty much as good as it got although I did get a few other shots before I left.
Had some random, I think half cut, taxi driver come up and tell me how this was fly fishing only. I was like “yeah mate I’m taking photographs”. He then proceeded to repeat this a dozen times and then decided to look at the back of my camera. Tripod was about 1ft in the water. He clad in trainers. I warned him about the depth, he decided he’d just have a look anyway by balancing on the tufts of grass that were above the water. Pretty much fell over leaning his entire top half on my tripod. Obviously I grabbed the tripod and made a quick decision, if anything was going in the water it was him, not my kit. Thankfully, with my support and patience tested, neither fell and disaster was averted. He did tell me he was just off a night shift which may explain the lack of decision making powers but... yeah... we all survived, just. On an even better note, I am top of my Fantasy Football League 😂.
