🇹🇼 TAIWAN 🇹🇼
Can you now tell we just transferred a ton of photos?
Taiwan is a big place and we decided to stick with staying only in Taipei to go on a food hunt because you know how much we LOVE discovering local food markets when we travel, plus it is videography and photography heaven especially since we have our 50mm/1.8S of @NikonMEA.
So what are the street markets to visit in Taipei? HIT THE SAVE BUTTON NOW
➡️ 𝑹𝒂𝒐𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 – Our favourite market for street food in Taipei! Find TONS of snacky street food and drinks.
➡️ 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒙𝒊𝒂 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 – Ningxia Night Market is more crowded and start getting more touristy than the latter. Not so much shopping here, pretty much just food .
➡️ 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 – Shilin, well it is Taiwan’s biggest and most popular night market, so yeah it is way too touristy and we actually didn’t like it lots. Although, you gotta get lost here in the street food area to find a tons of Michelin Guide vendors .
➡️ 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒅𝒂 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 – With only little food, Shida is more fashion than …. street food. Finding cheap clothing while chasing food? This is your market! You will like it here more than Shilin to get all the deals.
➡️ 𝑴𝒊𝒂𝒐𝒌𝒐𝒖 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒈 – Known for its yellow lanterns, this is THE most popular food market of all Taiwan. Stalls are also numbered which makes it easy to spot places recommended. Although the most popular, It will be a 45-minutes taxi ride. If you don’t have much time and have seen 2 markets already, you might not want to make the hike unless you are that motivated to see the place!
