March 17: What I'm Working On
In between orders, and life, parenting, etc, I am working on building my inventory of what I call "generic" greeting cards, in preparation for an upcoming local craft show. Proceeds support the Historical Society I am on the board of, so even if I don't sell much, I helped an organization I love.
On a grander scale, I am dabbling in new techniques to make even more unique cards. Teaching myself calligraphy, hand lettering, paper quilling, and playing with the Spirograph! Stay tuned for progress updates on these new skills as I learn them and find ways to implement them.
My springtime protect is to re-furnish my "Scrap Room" with a refabbed mid century dresser hand-me-down-ed from my parents' neighbors (years ago), which needs to be stripped, sanded, painted, drawers need a few repairs, and new drawer pulls. Its currently in our basement until its warm enough outside for me to work on it.
