Full Moon in Libra
What a fascinating time we are living in.
The past week or two have certainly highlighted the intensity of the current astrological scenery, which has included such big planetary moves such as Mercury retrograde, Uranus into Taurus and Chiron into Aries.
We now have a Full Moon in Libra, coinciding with the Equinox (Autumn in Southern Hemisphere, Spring in Northern Hemisphere). As I mentioned at the New Moon in Pisces earlier this month these planetary movements have reflected much endings and new beginnings. We are all going through the process of balancing the old with the new; our own needs with other’s needs; our inner world and our outer world.
We are searching for equilibrium, working on attaining symmetry.
This process has proved to be challenging, with many of us recently experiencing physical symptoms such as tiredness, crankiness, viruses, illnesses and mood fluctuations. We may have felt like we are conducting our life on a virtual see-saw. Mercury being retrograde has added to this confusion, particularly as it is happening in Pisces, with communication issues, illusions, lies and deceit all possible realities for some of us.
When the Moon is full, the Sun is situated opposite on the natal chart, this Full Moon the Sun is in Aries and is conjunct the asteroid Chiron, known as the wounded healer. The Sun in this close position to Chiron and opposite the Moon in Libra will be highlighting our unseen wounds or traumas, especially to do with how we relate (or don’t) with others. Libra wishes to attain symmetry, or balance, however with the Sun and Chiron in Aries they are pushing to be first, to win, to make sure their own needs are met.
