The Peads and Barnett’s Pork Bone Ramen from @mtnvenice with belly chashu, mustard green, moyashi sprout, pickled ginger, and shoyu tomago. Decent for sure and everything IS made from scratch in house but at $22 it should be mind blowing.
I used to work at Texas Roadhouse for years. I had some of the best times working there. I bring this up because while working there I was totally unaware of the disconnect within me. I would serve all sorts of dead flesh with a smile on my face. I would always try to upsell a side of baby back ribs. They were the best I had ever had so I figured it was an easy sell, and I sold a lot of them. Today, I am aware. I had no idea that what I was really doing was pushing the death of little baby pigs onto peoples plates. I mean the term says it all. BABY BACK RIBS. How did I not know, I was offering the ribs of a baby pig? We have been so brainwashed as a society to disconnect from this. I don’t know ANYONE, even the people who comment on my vegan posts ..”I love bacon” that I would be able to harm a baby pig and then feel excited to eat the corpse after. This shit is so deeply ingrained in our culture and in our minds that we get defensive, angry and turn a blind eye all while forgetting that the reason it continues is because we continue to pretend we aren’t responsible in some way. When I worked at Texas Roadhouse, I didn’t know. I can’t hold myself responsible. Now that I know, it’s my responsibility to speak up, until all are free. #animalabuse#eatingbabies#govegan#veganforlife#anonymousforthevoicelsss#speaktruth#teachthebabies#heartoverhabits#freshoverflesh#wakeupworld#earthlings#letusbeheroes#indoctrinatedsincebirth#bacon#pork#texasroadhouse#sorrynotsorry
