Winter is my favorite season, but what I enjoy more than cold weather is the growth found throughout nature. On my AT hike in 2016, one eye opening lesson I learned was how I walk through life daily + somehow tend to miss the small, significant changes. On trail, I watched the seasons change before my eyes, and I realized that I don’t have to live in the woods to witness it. I’ve learned to slow down, observe growth on trees, the brightening tones of grass, and the tiny buds beginning to bloom. It’s literally happening daily around me. I’ve just had to learn how to pay attention. I’m not a huge fan of warmer seasons, but I’m excited for our neck of the woods to turn green again. It’s already happening, day by day. Happy spring, friends. 🌿
Also, a huge thanks to @earthchildweddings for making the beautiful bouquet. She’s incredibly talented + sweet, definitely check her out.
