Endgame Countdown Day 36: I'm so proud of how far Bradley Cooper has come. He went from doing mainly comedies like Wet Hot American Summer and Wedding Crashers to being an Oscar nominated actor and director. Apocalypse Now (1979) 10/10 ➖ Overall, Apocalypse Now comes highly recommended and is classed as a must watch from Finesse Movie Reviews. With jaw dropping cinematography and brilliant performances from Martin Sheen & Marlon Brando, you will be thirsty for more. After watching this film the 1st time, I honestly started rewatching it again right after. Considering this was filmed in 1979, thanks to Bluray and remastering technology, it’s incredible to see just how great this film looks (especially if you comparing to films in cinema today). The making of features on the Bluray set is also worth your time watching as it’s incredible to hear the about this film’s developing journey. 💢CHECK OUT THE FULL REVIEW ON FACEBOOK💢 . . . #apocalypsenow #martinsheen #marlonbrando #francisfordcoppola #moviereview #cinephile #war #warmovie #robertduvall #ilovethesmellofnapalminthemorning #lawrencefishburne #vietnam #vietnamwar #secretmission #jungle #army #violence #combat #cinephilecommunity #filmcritique #finessemoviereviews #moviecritic #filmcritic #filmreviews #film #moviereviews #reviews #filmreview #movies #critic

#GiannisNewMovies2019 36: Terminator Genisys (2015) . Is it good? I have been catching this on cable for years and I always miss the first 15 to 30 minutes. So I always end up changing the channel because I just can’t keep up. Now, I can honestly say that it’s stupidly bad but I kinda enjoyed it. . Best Ironically, the thing I liked about this is the exposition about all the stuff. The film is tricking your brain that it’s a good one because you have to follow a lot of lore and technicalities in this world. I guess I have to give kudos to the actors for that. . Worst There’s a lot of bad things I can say about this film but the worst is what they did to John Connor’s character. Of all the dumb things in this film, that’s the dumbest. . Did I fall asleep? I did. . Rewatchability I have seen the film partially throughout the years, it’s good background noise actually. . Recommendation Everyone says this film is bad, and they’re right. But it’s still enjoyable mindless action. . #movie #moviebuff #moviegeek #moviecritic #moviereview #movielover #film #filmbuff #filmgeek #filmcritic #filmreview #filmlover #cinema #cinemabuff #cinemageek #cinemalover #geek #critic #review #TerminatorGenisys #Terminator #EmiliaClarke #JasonClarke #JaiCourtney #ArnoldSchwarzenegger #scifi #fantasy #franchise . Hellboy- 2 hrs 1 min- Supernatural, Fantasy- 🧔🗣 He Said--> The original series movies were fairly decent and I used to enjoy them as a younger person, they weren’t great but I did enjoy the series. This movie was relatively the same, at times I was thinking this move is pretty ruthless and has good action, but at other times it was cheesy and not very funny. They tried to pull off some Deadpool humor but tried this humor from Hellboy who is played by a guy with the acting depth and deliver of Keanu Reeves. This movie was tolerable and had a few good moments, overall it was a disappointment and I preferred the older series better. I give this movie 2 ½ Reels out of 5 Reels and label it “Reel Average”. 👱🏻‍♀️🗣 She Said —> To be fair, I had zero desire to see this film which is likely coloring my review. I really enjoyed the dark humor which had my laughing out loud on a few occasions. It was relatively gore filled, so if that's your thing, you'll probably like it. It definitely isn't for me. Overall, the story just really didn't draw me in enough to keep me engaged. I give this film 2.5 reels out of 5 and call it "Reel Average". #hellboy #hellboymovie #monsters #demons #movie #movies #moviemagic #movielover #movielovers #moviemagic #movieaddict #movieaddict #moviestar #moviestarplanet #movienight #moviedate #moviedatenight #couple #couplesgoals #hesaidshesaid #moviereview #review #filmreview #reviews #moviecritic #critic #film #cinema #boxofficekingandqueen #boxoffice

Here is REAR WINDOW, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. This 1954 mystery thriller film is my absolute favorite Hitchcock film. With the amazing use of suspense and thrills, the audience is thrust into a world of fear and claustrophobia. As the film digs in to the use of voyeurism, the audience is pulled into a dark world of spying on the innocent, or perhaps, guilty. This film is a complete masterpiece, and an amazing example of suspense, so check this classic out now! 9.8/10 #moviereview #thriller #movie #movies #filmreview #cinema #moviereviews #mystery #filmreviews #blockbuster #moviebuff #cinephile #movielover #reviews #films #filmcritic #hitchcock #movienight #movietime #influential #moviecritic #actor #hollywood #filmlover #jamesstewart #cinephilecommunity #filmbuff #netflix #movienerd #rearwindow

Welcome to 2019's most overrated film. Us is the sophomore effort from writer/director Jordan Peele. After his also highly acclaimed first feature, Get Out. Us follows a mother and her family who while on vacation are attacked in their holiday home by a family who they soon discover are their doppelgangers. They soon have to fight for their lives and learn the mystery of their doppelgangers before they take their place. Firstly I'll highlight what I did appreciate about this film. Us is beautifully shot by Peele and there is some pretty decent cinematography throughout. That's where my appreciation ends sadly. Us falls apart with it's poorly written script by Peele. The first half is fine, albeit nothing special. The second half is where the story falls apart with plot holes left and right and due to a complete abandonment and/or confusion of it's messages and themes. What is conveyed is broad, poorly executed and left me amazed as to how the film has recieved such high praise. Peele also utilises poor exposition dumps and a twist that was so laughable and thrown in at the last second, you'd wonder if Peele was trying to replicate a bad M. Night Shyamalan film. The ending really didn't work for me and trust me I get what was trying to be done. Peele's symbolic story telling is also surface level and while realised maybe to him, is not visually told very well. As I said above, if you start to think about the film at all, glaring plot holes become apparent and seem to multiple as you continue to think. I also thought the film struggled maintaining a constient tone or blended tones well. As I felt the comedy really didn't compliment the horror and more serious tone. The mother and characters in the family lack intrigue but are decently acted by all involved, I suppose. Lastly I'll mention that Peele tried way too hard to create an iconic movie music scene, while amusing somewhat at the time of viewing. It just further adds to the film's detriments, this time with originality. Us is a massive disappointment, earning underserved praise and highlighting the fact that maybe Peele is a one hit wonder. Overall 3/10 #us #usmovie

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN | 2003 🏃🏻‍♂️⁣ ⁣ A Spielberg film that largely goes under the radar within his fine selection of films, 'Catch me if you can' is a fun film that almost everyone can enjoy. Perfectly cast with the charming DiCaprio and the added presence of Tom hanks. Don't like it at the first watch, watch it a second time and you'll realise Spielberg doesn't always have to go big to have success.⁣ ⁣ EHL Review Meter- 80/100 🎬⁣ ⁣ Do you think you could get away with being an imposter in many different industries? 👨‍⚕️👨‍🏫👨‍✈️⁣ ⁣ Check out my full review for 'Catch Me If You Can', link in bio!! Shazam (Film, 2019) The latest DC film brings both the laughs and the action! Starring Asher Angel and Zachary Levi, the film follows 14-year-old Billy Batson as he struggles to adjust to foster life in Philadelphia. When he finally gets welcomed into a loving group home, he still doesn't feel quite there, so in an effort to run away again and find his biological mother, he gets transported to a hidden temple that is home to a dying wizard. There, the wizard transfers his powers to Billy, transforming him into a superhero by saying the name Shazam. From that point on, Billy tries to figure out what it is his superhero self is actually capable of with the help of his new foster brother Freddy and tries to save the world from the evil Dr. Sivana. Throughout the movie, the comedic elements were off the charts and the action was nonstop. The two elements worked very well together and in my opinion, it was the best DC film that has been made in recent years. It did not have the same gritty and dull look that the films in the DCEU have as it was its own separate entity. Zachary Levi and Asher Angel are forces to be reckoned with and there was quite a nice surprise with cameos from some familiar faces at the end, leaving you to think another one is coming our way. I give it 4 out of 5 stars as I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it considering the other DC films have kind of been duds. . . . #film #movie #filmreview #moviereview #review #blog #filmcritic #moviecritic #entertainment #dc #dcuniverse #dceu #zacharylevi #asherangel #superhero #shazam #popculture #comedy #action #blockbuster #cinema #cinematicuniverse

- - #instamovies #movie #movies #moviecollector #ilovemovies #moviecritic #film #poster #movieposter #italian #cinema #sexywoman #drama #goodmovie #goodfilm #bestmovie #1960s #filmediting #destructuralism #italy #theatrical #cinephiles #cinephile #cinefilia #watchthis

Rebel Without a Cause (1955) . James Dean is regarded as one of the most talented actor that ever laid a foot on Hollywood. Sadly, we can’t never knew how talented he wil be. luckly, we’re blessed with 3 feature films he’d make before His untimely dead. Recieving an Oscar nomination from his debut in East of Eden, his most famous role isn’t in that film. It’s in this film, that He showed us just how good he is and what he would be as a troubled, moody teenager Jim Stark. Combine with incrediblely impactful story that filled with heartfelt message, this film is a beautiful diamond out of all the diamonds in the world. . The film start when drunk Jim is being taken to the police office to be interogated. Inside, he meet with another two teenager with their problems. From there, is where the film start to reveals itself. It’s hard to make a coming-of-age film. But this film did it, with the carefull story planning and the consciousness to be patient so the when it reached the climax, it delivered. Not only that, the film’s willingness to try portraying family’s most difficult problems pay off with understanding more to the adolescence. By trying to be what the rest isn’t trying, the film gains respect from the audience, both young and old. . Classics from time to time and time to come. Thanks to the beautiful technicolor the film used. Also, the script is inspiring. Including famous lines that have become pop culture references. Lines like “You’re tearing me apart” and “I got the bullets” have been used by many films and cultural life. Strong acting, amazing script, admirable cinematography, sounds and production value that's so good, every part of this film is a legend. . Being deemed as “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant” by the Libary Congress’s National film registry, James Dean’s second outing means more than that. Taking the problems from the eyes of the troublesome teenager, this simple story is full of wise things to learn. All along, The film succeeded in telling generation’s cultural and need difference , even decades after the film’s released. . Grade : 5 / 5 . As always thank you for reading the review. Don't forget to follow ✌

#topicaltuesday #blackkklansman #longpost I just watched this movie last night, and I thought it was incredible. It was moving, enlightening, but also infuriating, because even though it takes place in the past (as it is based on a true story) it isn't hard to see it being exactly what black citizens are STILL dealing with. I have benefited from white privilege, and while I think I haven't actively manipulated it to my benefit, I can't really know. To think that I haven't benefited from my skin color is ignorant. And watching this film made me angry that I've been benefiting from something I don't care about at the detriment of other people. I want to do more to fight for true equality in the U.S.A. and I'm not really sure where to start, but I hope movies like this become more frequent; the message is accessible, it certainly made me address my own perspective and bias, and I can only hope it did the same for others. It doesn't matter, the color of your skin, only who you are inside. I will do what I can to ensure the acceptance and true equality of all minorities. Without diversity, there is no growth. Without education, there is only ignorance. Without hate, there is only love. #topicaltuesday #movie #movies #racism #blacklivesmatter #equality #educateyourself #moviecritic #bias #whiteprivilege Thank you @officialspikelee for creating an inspiration to analyze my own biases. The film is currently available for viewing on HBO or I'm sure you can rent from your local library. If you don't look at yourself to know who you are, then who are you?

Hotel Mumbai- 2 hrs 3 mins- Drama, Thriller- 🧔🗣 He Said—> This based on true events Thriller was absolutely riveting from start to finish. Dev Patel is one of the best young actors and is always great in any movie that takes place in or around India, he is in many similar roles but continues to shine and expands his repitoire in this intense action movie. This film was so well done that it literally had me on the edge of my seat, it was so good at making you anticipate deaths and then sit there in suspense. I did not know about this awful massacre and this made it all the more real while watching this movie. The acting was great and the terror was palpable, I give this movie 4 1/2 Reels out of 5 Reel and label it the “Reel Deal”, go see this movie for a surprise and underrated thriller! 👱🏻‍♀️🗣 She Said—> This movie is so beautiful in so many ways. The acting is superb, the scenery is marvellous, and the cinematography is compiled in a skilled and stunning way. I was drawn into this movie from the beginning and developed a genuine care for the characters because of the way individual pieces of their personal stories were allowed to come through. It was incredibly suspenseful and, I believe, did justice to the true story. This film had me holding my breath and shedding tears. I left heart broken for the impacted individuals and families I had grown to care about but also heart warmed because of the true acts of goodness shown in the most horrible time. I give this film a rare 5 reels out of 5 and call it the "Reel Deal". #devpatel #hotelmumbai #tajhotelmumbai #india #movies #movie #movienight #moviestarplanet #moviedate #movieworld #movielover #moviemagic #moviegeek #movieaddict #moviereview #review #moviecritic #moviestar #film #filmreview #cinema #boxofficekingandqueen #boxoffice #suspense #thriller #terroristattack #terrorist #neverforget #hero

Strangers with a secret in common are all locked in a room and must find clues to get to the next room before a trap goes off and they die. Sound familiar? Yea its every fucking Saw movie ever made. "Escape Room" is "Saw" for teenagers. This movie did not play out at all like I think it was and typically that's a good thing but this film is actually fucking stupid. It's like "Cabin in the Woods" meets "Saw". There's a secret shady organization that sets these death rooms up so shitty rich people can bet on who will survive and every year they lower the odds. All the participants are lone survivors of horrible accidents and the rich fucks want to see "who is the luckiest of the lucky", lame. All of them are stereotypical of their character and none of them stand out enough for you to care if they die. Some of the actual traps were cool but also really fucking ridiculous to do. I give this a 3/10 for set production, the billiard trap was bad ass and camera tricks they used in there were cool. The ending was dumb. #escaperoom #mikesmmw #movie #movies #moviereview #review #moviecritic #film #filmreview #cinema #blog #blogger #bigscreen #action #adventure #horror #scifi #drama #mystery #thriller #2019

Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsberg has become something of a very famous person of late, she is terribly admired and considered to be scintillatingly intelligent. Here in this film it is most interesting to take a look at her personal life a bit as well as her groundbreaking legal charge against the unfairness of American laws based on Gender Discrimination. Indeed there were once thousands of laws that proclaimed that women could not do the same jobs as men. A bit of Mrs. Ginsberg’s early professional life was difficult in that although 1st in her class at Harvard law school, she can’t even get a job as a lawyer and must teach it at a school! Fortunately she catches onto a glaring failure of the ‘white male’ law that says that only women can get a tax break if they are caretakers, but that men cannot. So therefore she can ‘bring down’ the small time thinking of these ancient old geezers, who were indeed insular in culture, thought and deed. It will take many more years further to unravel the harm that a culture of such ignorance can, did and does foster in America. Things are not better by any means, today or tomorrow. Indeed the lawyer for the government uses the word Radical Social Change, blaming Lady Ginsberg for her arguments that would rile up a nation that can’t handle what is right. Shameful. The movie sure could use much more anger and bite in my mind, Felicity Jones does quite well in bringing across Mrs. Ginsberg but to me the production did seem a tad ‘white’ and perhaps needed a few more street touches to it’s drama. Still, just wishing it away doesn’t work, as Mrs. Ginsberg is trying to get across. 7.3 Out Of 10 I found this drama of Madame Ginsberg most interesting and look forward to more portraits of her life to come in film and elsewhere. She is more refreshing as the ‘old boys’ at Harvard learned when they tangled with RBG! #CLAYSMOVIEREVIEWS #movie #movies #film #films #cinema #instamovie #instamovies #moviefan #moviereview #review #critic #filmcritic #critical #moviecritic #rated #cinema #reviews #moviereviews #ONTHEBASISOFSEX #FELICITYJONES

The Naked Gun Marathon ft. my Nana The Naked Gun series follows Leslie Nielsen as Frank Drebin, Detective Sergeant Lieutenant of Police Squad. Each film has a loose plot where Frank must save the day and get the girl, played by Priscilla Presley. But the plot isn't really important with these films, they are the framework for the multitude of gags of all kinds throughout. Leslie Nielsen is consistently fantastic as he plays it straight with amazing comedic flair. The first film is the best and most consistent with it's gags, I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit. While the sequels are less consistent they have their moments and Nielsen is always enjoyable to watch. So I watched this series with my Nana. Here are our ratings. The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! 🎥 Lachlan: 8/10 Nana: 7/10 The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear 🎥 Lachlan: 6/10 Nana: 7/10 Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult 🎥 Lachlan: 4/10 Nana: 8/10 #thenakedgun #leslienielsen #movie #movies #moviejunkie #filmjunkie #films #film #moviecritic #filmcritic #moviereview #moviereviews #filmreview #filmreviews #cinephile #cinephilecommunity #cinema #nowwatching

Ralph 2.0, Rich Moore, Phil Johnston, 2019. RÉJOUISSANT. PERTINENT. CYNIQUE. #ralph #game #jeu #video #videogame #fun #aventure #film #movie #moviecritic #critique #passion #art #cinephile #cinephage #paris #moviereview #cinephilecommunity #filmcritique #movielover #filmcritic #filmreview #critic #instamovie

Founder of the Republic of Turkey, Atatürk, once said: “Children are the future of our nation and a source of joy and merriness. It is our duty to raise children with the awareness that today’s children are the future’s adults.” After 99 years since the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, we still know and celebrate April 23rd as the National Sovereignty and Children’s Day; for he gifted this important date to all children of Turkey. Today the governmental authorities will give their seats to children to cherish our little ones and we will once again celebrate the date our country switched from monarchy to democracy ♥️🇹🇷♥️

Glass Written/Directed By: M Night Shyamalan Starring: James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson . . In a series of escalating encounters, security guard David Dunn uses his supernatural abilities to track Kevin Wendell Crumb, a disturbed man who has twenty-four personalities. Meanwhile, the shadowy presence of Elijah Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. . . Riding off the success of M Night Shyamalan's previous film, Split, I was really looking forward to seeing as to how he'd continue the plot to this film. Id be lying to say if I wasn't slightly disappointed with Glass however I still enjoyed the film to a certain extent. James McAvoy is just great throughout the entire film and is clearly showing as to how much he cared to portray Kevin and gave as much variety as possible with each and every personality. Bruce Willis isn't really given much to do and his character doesn't even nesacarilly have an arc throughout the whole film. Samauel L. Jackson doesn't do much for the first two acts of the film, surprisingly considering he's the tiltle character, however he plays just fine as Mr. Glass. The film had some unique techniques with the way it was shot and at times it really worked, while at others it didn't due to some very odd angles that didn't really add anything to film. The film's intro had some very odd and questionable lines of dialogue that sort of just felt out of place and as if a little kid wrote them. M. Night Shyamalan has been building up the conclusion of these characters for 18 years by now, ever since Unbreakable, and their conclusion is certainly a mixed bag, with some elements me really enjoying, with others just feeling executed poorly and just as a huge letdown compared to the other two films. This is certainly the weakest of the trilogy, however I still enjoyed parts of the film and do think it's a pretty solid film. Rating: 6/10
