Throwback to Sri Lanka last year where we met the 60 year old man who climbs down the mine every day, loading up a basket of rubble, then climbs back up to sift it through water for precious moonstones and crystals. There isn't a lift, only logs stuck into the walls of the shaft to create steps down and a basket on a pulley to bring up the rubble 🙌🏼

A very cold night on the mountain with @evrythng.is a couple of weeks ago to capture the Milky Way high over Hobart. I may have left freezing, with ice having formed on my hair and jacket thanks to the apparent temperature of -13c but it was worth every cold moment to sit on this icy rock! ✨ || Hobart, Tasmania
If I could time travel into the future, my first port of call would be the point where medical technology is at its best because, like most people on this planet, I have this aversion to dying. — Neal Asher

This shot was taken at 3am before our sunrise hike up to Annapurna Base Camp. We used headlamps to walk up the icy slopes. Our hiking poles were fashioned with Obsidian in case we ran into White Walkers.
Everyday we were hiking to beat the inevitable rains. Within a span of 2 hours, the sky’s would go from clear and sunny, to ominously cloudy, to pouring buckets. We got caught the first day, but managed to be undefeated since.
