Hi, my name is Meg and I have anxiety, depression and OCD. In light of recent events, I want to open up this line of communication. I am here for you, I understand. Sometimes it takes me 30 minutes to post something on Instagram because of what I call “tapping,” which is a part of my OCD. I’m trying to fight it. I’m trying not to listen to it when it tells me I can only post between “this time and this time.” I know it sounds silly, and that’s the worst part. Thank you for being on this cosplay journey with me -specifically when I am Captain Marvel, I feel stronger. I’m sorry I haven’t posted much the past few weeks. I’ve been extremely busy but also struggling with my mental health. I want you all to know that if you are struggling too, please reach out. I am also trying to practice what I preach and reach out when I need to. I will be okay. You will be okay. Let’s not let there be a stigma towards mental health. It may be past midnight but Happy Marvel Monday! (My anxiety is screaming that I’m posting past midnight) Be the most marvelous version of yourself. ❤️
Side note: I am in LOVE with these shots from @eternalcosplayapp of me as Carol with my natural hair! I may start wearing her like this more often.
