Hundreds of curious souls including us have flocked and queued to the #shrine. It was a weekend and influx was enormous.
Upon reaching the #shinto, it is observed that people have their own shenanigans. Some were praying, others were hoarding charms and few just looked around. Had an interesting sight of the maidens too.
I reached some coins, dropped them down, made hand gestures and whispered mine. It was a prayer solely intended for a unique and (very) rare occasion of my life. It was made more special as I've said it right beside a tableaux of a breathing soul. I was blown away. I can't believe it had happened.
There stood hundreds of charms and amulets in nooks. Had hard time choosing one but got 3 pieces to bring home with a belief it will bring me blessings or luck, forever. Before sunset, we're able to settle down despite the biting cold. Good thing, a quick stroll in a museum broke the chill and got bamboo bookmarks too.
I wouldn't want that day to end yet sorry not sorry it was perfect.
