lost Burra Bear UPDATE:
you may remember last June I posted a photo of 'Andrew o' Aywick' he had been bought onboard NorthLink Ferries by Wayne & Ann from Australia on their return journey, sadly he had been accidentally left on the Heathrow Express and despite cotacting Heathrow and many people trying to track him down, (we had 394 shares on the post on Facebook) he was never handed in. Wayne contacted me to order another bear, we managed to make the second bear from a similar piece of Fair Isle knitwear, so 'Moore o' Muckle Roe' travelled to be with his new family in Australia and all was well ........
Fast forward to the end of August this year and who should pop up on Ebay for sale but 'Andrew o' Aywick', right away I contacted the seller to find out where he had been all this time, they explained that they buy unclaimed airport luggage and that's how they came to have him. I immediately contacted Wayne to let him know that Andrew had been tracked down, he was delighted and said they had a wedding anniversary coming up and this would be the perfect gift.
I received this photo today from Wayne & Ann, Andrew reminiscing with Moore about his adventures, after almost 15 months he finally made to his forever home.
Now that's what you call a very happy ending xx
