Don’t you think the social media becomes the source of increasing our stress, depression, anxiety, the suicidal thoughts in youngsters! Everyday , like everyday there’s a news , an 18 year young girl, a 21 year old boy attempted suicide and the reason is DEPRESSION! I’m not saying depression isn’t a thing but I know it’s a disease, mental Illness. all one need is attention, someone listen to him or her, not to say k Yar koi nhi hota hai but to console , boost confidence, make him/her realise his / her own worth , the worth of life, the worth of him/her in her parents life. Instead of criticism and judgmental thoughts !
But sharing your depression on social media, promotes the negative thoughts, depression and anxiety in others life too. There are many people who are suffering from their worst days, some has lost their loved ones, some are struggling with their lives, some are surviving their life alone ( have on one to share their thoughts), think about those who lost his father in a minor accident, the one whose parent got divorced! You never know what a person is struggling inside ! Instead of sharing the sadness and depression.. share the things which boost up thier confidence, makes them feel alive, relieve their pain, they feel relaxed atleast when they are scrolling through social media ! -Shahira Khan .
