CRISPY CAULIFLOWER GNOCCHI, HONEY-CHIPOTLE SALMON & GRILLED ASPARAGUS By: @sara.haven 🐠 @sara.haven . What you see: Honey garlic chipotle salmon: 1) in a bowl, combine 1 tbsp. honey (I used manuka), 1/4 tsp. chipotle chili powder, 1 tbsp. melted ghee or butter, a punch or salt + a punch of pepper. Spread evenly over two 4-6 oz. salmon filets (you can easily double this to serve four). 2) in a pan, heat 1 tsp. ghee or oil for a minute; add salmon filets, skin side up, and sear for 3 mins.; flip, and cook an additional 3-4 mins. - Crispy cauliflower gnocchi - Grilled asparagus topped with fresh parmesan cheese . Lentil Stew with Creamy Mushrooms & Mashed Potatoes 😋 The perfect hearty meal for the colder months! Recipe by @elavegan ✨ Ingredients for Lentil stew⠀ 1 cup dry lentils, green or brown (190 g)⠀ 1 large onion (chopped)⠀ 2 cloves of garlic (minced)⠀ 1 tbsp oil (for frying)⠀ 3 tbsp white wine (40 ml) (optional)⠀ 3 cups vegetable broth (720 ml)⠀ 2 cups mushrooms sliced (135 g) 2 tbsp soy sauce (wheat free if GF)⠀ 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar⠀ 1-2 tsp each of dried parsley, thyme and oregano (use more, if fresh)⠀ A splash of coconut milk canned (for extra creaminess)⠀ 1/2 tbsp cornstarch (to thicken)⠀ black pepper and chili flakes to taste⠀ Chopped pickles to taste (optional)⠀ . Mashed potatoes⠀ 4 medium-sized potatoes (600 g)⠀ 1/4 cup coconut milk canned (60 ml) 1/2 tsp nutmeg (or more/less to taste)⠀ black pepper, sea salt to taste⠀ ⠀ Instructions⠀ Rinse lentils under running water. I prefer to soak my lentils for about 15 minutes in lukewarm water but this step is optional (discard the water afterwards). Meanwhile, chop your onion, garlic, mushrooms (*see recipe notes). Heat oil in a skillet/frying pan, stir in the diced onion, the minced garlic and fry for 3 minutes over medium heat.⠀ ⠀ Add mushrooms, dried parsley, thyme, oregano, white wine (optional), balsamic vinegar, soy sauce (or tamari/coconut aminos to taste) and fry for a further 3-5 minutes.⠀ ⠀ Now add the lentils and 3 cups of vegetable broth and cook on low-medium heat (add more broth if needed) until the lentils are tender (about 20 minutes). In the meantime, peel and chop potatoes, transfer them to a pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until tender, drain. Transfer back to the pot, add coconut milk, nutmeg, black pepper and sea salt to taste and mash with a potato masher (don't use a food processor or blender). Once the lentils are tender, mix a generous splash of coconut milk and cornstarch in a small bowl and pour this mixture into the lentil stew. Cook for a further 1 minute or until the desired thickness is reached. Season again with soy sauce (if needed), black pepper, and chili flakes. #veganfood

Asparagus also contains good amounts of inulin, which becomes a food source for good and healthy gut bacteria. Good bacteria in our digestive tract will help with better nutrient absorption, a lower risk of allergies, and lower risk of colon cancer.} . . makes 4 servings Ingredients: 4 large chicken breasts 1 Tbsp avocado oil, or olive oil 1 Tbsp fresh lemon zest (optional, but amazing!) sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to your taste 12 small asparagus stalks, ends trimmed 4 small slices high-quality mozzarella cheese 4 Tbsps sun-dried tomatoes, chopped 1 tsp garlic salt Instructions: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees f. Cut the chicken breast in half, length-wise, but just enough to make a pocket, as shown. Rub the inside of the chicken breast with lemon zest, sea salt and pepper. Place chicken on a cutting board and stuff each equally with the mozzarella, asparagus and sun dried tomato, then fold over. Insert a large toothpick to close the pocket. Rub the chicken with a pinch of garlic salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large and oven safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3 minutes per side then place the skillet in the oven. Bake in your preheated 375 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the inside. WHICH MILK IS BEST🥛 . When it comes to milk here’s what you need to know! If you can tolerate cows milk and enjoy it then this is by far the most nutrient dense option. It’s also an excellent source of the BCAA leucine which helps to rebuild and repair muscle tissue. (Very important if you’re trying to lose weight or maintain your weight loss efforts) Opt for one with moderate fat levels as this will also help to improve satiety and give you a boost of fat soluble vitamins.💁‍♀️ . In terms of plant based milk SOY MILK is by far the superior option. It is also a complete protein source (unlike other plant milks) and contains quite good levels of muscle building leucine. Buy one which is unsweetened, high in protein and calcium fortified. The less ingredients and the higher percentage of whole soy beans the better. . Almond, coconut, oat, rice etc are mostly water (most are also low protein and calcium and high in added sugar) so you’re better off making your own or investing in the Whole Foods items and eating more of them. . baked some sweet potatoes last night and turned them into toasts this morning. I usually bake as a whole potato first rather than slicing the potato and baking the slices. here’s how i do it: bake whole sweet potatoes in the oven at 400F for 40 mins. once ready, chill & cut lengthwise. toast them up in a pan or toaster. top with you fave toppings. I topped mine with peanut butter, bananas, hemp seeds, cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. paired with 2 fried eggs and some avocado for a complete meal. HAPPY TUESDAY! #healthymoodsf #toasttuesday

Lovin’ this salad inspired by @veganbyeden and @biancazapatka To Make: 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce 1 sliced bell pepper 1/2 cup black beans 11 fingerling potatoes cut in half 1/4 of a Roma tomato 1/2 of an avocado 1-2 tsps lime juice 2 tsp granulated garlic 1/8 cup chopped red onion 1/4 tsp cumin 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp oregano Salt and pepper To Make: Put the oven on bake at 400F, mix the potatoes with some olive oil, paprika, oregano, and 1 tsp of the granulated garlic. Place the potatoes on a lined baking sheet and cook for 15min, then flip them and cook for 10 more minutes. Now take the avocado half and mush the avocado, mix in cumin, onion, 1tsp granulated garlic, lime juice and salt and pepper to taste. Put everything on a plate and enjoy! ALMUERZO deliii 💥👏🏼. 👉🏼 Pescado: primera vez que compro “angelito” y lo amé. Es muy tierno y carnoso. Luego les subo cómo lo cociné para que quedara súper rico! 👉🏼 Ensalada: Cebolla cruda reahogada un rato en agua caliente (para que se le vaya el gusto invasivo), choclo, apio y naranja. Un toque de sal, aceite de oliva, aceto balsámico y un chorrito de vinagre. Quedó buenísima; pruébenla porque es un 💯 como combinación. Homemade barbecue jackfruit with homemade vegan cold slaw ...Barbecue jackfruit 1-20oz can of jackfruit drained pulled and seeded 1small onion chopped 1/2 cup barbecue sauce of your choice Stubbs is very good 1tsp garlic salt and pepper 3tbs apple cider vinegar 1 tbs hot sauce using gloves combine all ingredients together firmly making sure all flavors are molding together then cover and let sit in fridge for 30 minutes while letting oven temp reach 400 degrees remove from fridge place in baking dish and cover let cook for 45 minutes in the oven at 400 degrees🙂

SALMON OBSESSED! Cook for dinner and lunch next day all in one! HONEY GARLIC SALMON - Quick, easy and yummy AF 😋 # INGREDIENTS: - 4 skin on salmon fillets - 1 TBSP oil - 3 minced garlic cloves - 3 TBSP honey - 2 TBSP fresh squeezed lemon juice - parsley for garnish of desired # METHOD: 1. Season salmon with salt and pepper. 2. Add oil to a large skillet over medium high heat. 3. Once hot add in the salmon skin side down. 4. Cook salmon for 5-7 minutes on skin side (depending on size). 5. Very carefully flip salmon. If the skin is sticking to the pan give it more time to cook. It should release easily from the pan. 6. Add garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute. 7. Combine honey and lemon juice in a small bowl. Add the sauce to the pan. 8. Continue cooking for 1-3 minutes or until the salmon is fully cooked and looks opaque and the sauce is thick. 9. Take off of the heat. When the salmon is cool enough to handle peel off the skin. 10. Serve immediately with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for garnish, if desired. Add a side of steamed/grilled vegetables and/or brown rice/sweet potatoes for the ultimate yummy healthy meal experience...have a wonderful evening lovelies ✌🏼💕 @bionicbodies
