Garlic Beef & Veggie Ramen😍 . ✅ Save this recipe for later to make 😋 ✅ Tag someone who loves healthy food👇🏼 ✅ Follow @easy.healthy.eats 🌱 . By @chelseasmessyapron . 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce separated 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce 2 and 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic separated 3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon cornstarch separated 1 pound flank steak 3-5 tablespoons vegetable oil separated Assorted veggies: 8 ounces sliced mushrooms, 8 ounces snap peas, 1 cup shredded carrots, 1 red bell pepper 2 packages 3 ounces each ramen noodles 2 tablespoons sesame oil 1 cup low-sodium beef stock or broth 1 tablespoon minced ginger 1/2 cup brown sugar* packed 1/2 - 1 full teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional: green onions Instructions Toss the meat to coat with the cornstarch in a large plastic bag. Heat until the oil is shimmering and then add in 1/2 the beef so it can be in a single layer. Repeat. Transfer to a plate. In that same skillet or wok, add in the sesame oil, remaining 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons soy sauce, beef stock or broth, remaining 1 and 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic, minced ginger, brown sugar* (add to your taste preference, we like a lot of sugar in this dish), and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook (uncovered) over medium heat until sauce thickens a bit and reduces by about a third (about 10-12 minutes). You don't want to reduce it too much so it can still generously coat all the noodles & veggies. In a small dish, whisk together remaining 1 teaspoon cornstarch with 1 teaspoon water until smooth. Whisk into the sauce. While the sauce is reducing, boil a small pot of water and cook the ramen noodles for exactly 2 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water. Add the cooked veggies, cooked meat, and drained ramen noodles into the sauce. Toss to coat and top with green onions. Add some cracked pepper and additional red pepper flakes if desired. Happppy Thursday! Just got done eating some amazing banana chocolate chip pancakes 🥞 😋 I topped them with banana slices, coconut flakes, granola, and pure maple syrup. Recipe below! 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour 2 Tbsp coconut sugar 2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 2/3 cup @milkadamia 1 small banana mashed (1/3 cup) Mini chocolate chips Cooking spray Heat pan to medium low. In a large bowl add the flour, coconut sugar, baking soda and salt. Whisk together until mixed well. Make a big crater in the middle and add the milk, banana, and chocolate chips. Mix together until there are no more dry spots, but be careful not to mix too much or the pancakes will be tough. Spray cooking spray onto the heated pan and cook 1-2 minutes on each side until bubbles form.

OVERNIGHT OAT BIRCHER BOWLS! 💞🥣 Here's another oat and raspberry inspired recipe for ya! This one’s for my overnight oats, but bircher bowl style. Meaning I've added a few frills like coocnut yogurt, shaved apple, nuts and seeds to fancy it up a bit. I love bircher bowls for a hearty and wholesome breakfast or snack. It really sticks with you. . . You can find the recipe on the blog, and since it's so easy I've also included it below.👇 Hope you're having a fab Thursday! #twospoons . . Bircher Bowls (serves 4): 1 cup gf oats 3 tsp chia 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp cardamom 3 tbsp mixed nuts/seeds (I used pumpkin, sunflower, & walnut) 1 apple shaved (approx. 3/4 cups) 1 cup coconut yogurt 1 cup almond milk 1/2 lemon juiced 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp maple syrup Frozen raspberries, cacao nibs and coconut flakes to sprinkle . . 1. In a mixing bowl add oats, chia, cinnamon, cardamon, nuts and seeds. Mix to combine. Add the apples and coconut yogurt, and pour in almond milk, lemon juice, vanilla and maple syrup. Mix well to combine. Place in fridge to soak overnight, or for at least 2 hours. 2. Divide bircher mixture between bowls and top with frozen raspberries. Sprinkle with coconut flakes and cocao nibs.

Hands up who loves grilled halloumi? 🙋‍♀️ I'm often asked how I cook halloumi, so here are my top tips: . 🧀 If you find halloumi too salty, soak it in a bowl of cold water before cooking to draw out some of the salt, then pat dry. 🧀 If I'm grilling halloumi (rather than using a griddle pan), I cut the halloumi with a crinkle knife to get the grill lines. You can buy crinkle knives from kitchen shops or Amazon. 🧀 Before grilling, I often brush the halloumi slices with something sweet, like honey or chilli jam. The sweetness really complements the salty halloumi. 🧀 When cooking halloumi under the grill, watch it like a hawk as it can catch easily. CHICKPEA TEMPEH 😩😍🤤 You guys know I love my tempeh and I’ve been having the same one for the longest time EVER! However I decided to try a new variety which happens to be chickpea tempeh and OMG it was AMAZING! It was by the brand @organicvillagefood which I LOVE so much and it’s @plant_proof approved so that’s a bonus hahaha! It was amazing in this nourish bowl! - I baked the chickpea tempeh at 200C for 15 mins and I added tamari, garlic powder, coriander and paprika to it! I paired the tempeh with brown rice, capsicum, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, spinach, baked butternut pumpkin, avo and tamari tahini dressing! This meal was seriously the perfect post workout meal, considering that the tempeh was PACKED full of protein!!! If you haven’t tried chickpea tempeh before I highly suggest that you do!!! - I get a lot of messages asking for more tempeh recipes and how I cook my tempeh! I hope this gives you another idea on ways to eat tempeh! My all time favourite way is to bake it!! It turns out super crispy! But pan frying also works as well! Buckwheat Almond Crust Tart With Sweet Potato Chocolate Ganache by @delicious_and_healthy_by_maya Headover to her page for loads of deliciously healthy recipes! #recipe 👇 ➕➕INGREDIENTS Crust 1 cup rolled or steal cut oats 1 cup raw buckwheat groats 1/2 cup almonds chopped 2 tbsp coconut butter 3 tbsp agave or maple syrup 1 tsp maca powder (optional) 1/2 tsp pure vanilla powder 1 pinch salt . Chocolate Ganache 2 cups cubed and steamed sweet potato 1/4 cup melted cocoa paste (or cocoa butter) 1 cup almond milk 1/2 cup agave syrup 1 tbsp coconut sugar 1/2 cup cocoa powder tiny pinch of salt 1 tsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp burbon vanilla powder 1 tbsp cashew butter . ⏩⏩Instructions 1. Mix oats, buckwheat, almonds and salt and process in a food processor until buckwheat and almonds are coarsely ground 2. Add the rest of crust ingredients and process a bit more until the mixture is evenly moist. It will be a bit crumbly. Add more sweetener if needed 3. Press the mixture in a silicone mould (I used the bread tin) making the bottom thicker then the sides. The mixture will be pretty crumbly, mostly thanks to buckwheat groats and I was afraid it would all miserably fall apart, but the shells came out nice and firm and the buckwheat groats were beautifully crunchy after baking 4. Bake for 18 min on 175 Celsius 5. Leave it to completely cool and firm up 6. Prepare the ganache. 7. To prepare sweet potato, cut it in cubes and steam for 10-15 minutes, until soft. To melt cocoa paste, place it in the bowl and steam placing it on the pot with boiling water. The melting process shouldn’t last longer then 5 minutes 8. Now, place all the ingredients in the high speed blender and blend until completely smooth. Transfer into the crust and refrigerate for at least an hour. 9. If you’re after a super quick dessert, you can simply serve this ganache in cups, cooled overnight. It will get a mousse-like consistency. peanut butter jelly time 😋 busy mornings = simple breakfasts ✅ creamy pb 🥜 (organic and only one ingredient!) spread on @udisglutenfree toast with my homemade berry chia jam (prepped earlier in the week). it’s so quick and easy, requiring only TWO ingredients: berries and chia seeds! #recipe below heat up any berries you want in a small pot (or microwave them). I used mostly raspberries and some blueberries. simmer until they become soft. mash the berries with a fork and add the chia seeds (1 tablespoon for 1 cup of berries, adjust if desired). keep on low heat while stirring. chia seeds will thicken the mixture. sweetener (maple syrup, honey, etc) and vanilla extract optional. I personally prefer it without because the tartness is refreshing, plus these berries were naturally super sweet?? (yes, organic too) 👍 store in a jar and keep refrigerated for one week. seriously sooo pure and satisfying 🙌 you’ll never want store-bought jam again; those contain a lot of added sugars, thickening agents, and preservatives 🤢 AND making this yourself is actually very convenient. you can put it on toast, oatmeal, yogurt, pancakes, cream cheese, or whatever else 😊

Die Welt der Kinder🌺 . Es ist immer wieder faszinierend, wie Kinder auf die Situationen des Alltags reagieren. . Heute zum Beispiel: Ich komme Mittags zum Kindergarten und als mich meine kleine Räubertochter entdeckt, kommt sie schon ganz aufgeregt angerannt. Packt hastig ihren Rucksack und kramt darin allerhand heraus. Zuerst drückt sie mir einen Elternbrief in die Hand, dann holt sie noch 2 Rollen Gummibärchen heraus und zum Schluss hält sie voller Stolz ihren kleinen Joghurtbecher mit Kresse in der Hand. . Sie strahlte so sehr, dass musste ich dann Zuhause bildlich fest halten. Da geht mir einfach das Herz auf, wenn sie so glücklich und stolz ist. ❤️ . Im Kindergarten war jetzt die letzten 4 Wochen ein Projekt über gesunde Ernährung bei Kindern. Die junge Erzieherin, die zu diesem Thema eine Facharbeit schreibt, hat mit den Kids Frühstücksbuffets vorbereitet, Kresse angebaut und versucht, mit allen Sinnen unsere Lebensmittel den Kindern näher zu bringen. ¡Buenos días! 🌞 Hoy hice pocket de espinaca copiado de @fit_happy_sisters, aunque no quedó tan lindo como el de ellas 🙈 . ¿Cómo lo hice? Licué 2 claras con un puñado generoso de espinaca baby y toque de sal. Luego vertí esta mezcla en una sartén grande, formando una tortilla, clave que esté precalentada y engrasada. Tapé la sartén y esperé a que se cocinara mi tortilla y volteé. Luego le añadí queso rallado bajo en grasa, un huevo estilo frito y cerré llevando las puntas de la tortilla hacia el centro, finalmente añadí otro toquesito de queso rallado y serví. . Ah, por cierto, el pan integral es de @somosladespensa. Hacía rato no probaba un pan tan saludable y rico. STICKY RICE Vegan al biscotto 🍪 con banana e burro di arachidi 🥜🍌 un anno fa ero in Thailandia 🇹🇭 e ho scoperto lo sticky rice ovvero riso glutinoso cotto nel latte di cocco 🥥 generalmente accompagnato da mango 🥭 Comprai questo riso in terra asiatica, ma lo ho usato davvero poco! Per questa colazione l’ho abbinato alle proteine Vegan @vitamincompany al biscotto 🍪 lo cotto nel latte di cocco e ho poi creato una Crema con il cacao e le proteine in polvere! Petit déjeuner avocat-houmous. Avocado on houmous toast. English below. Un de ces matins où on a juste envie de se faire du bien avant de se mettre au travail. J'ai commencé par un bon roiboos au lit comme d'habitude. Puis j'ai enchaîné par un bon nettoyage de la peau avec les patchs Nivea. Ça faisait longtemps donc c'était vraiment nécessaire et j'étais très satisfaite du résultat quand je les ai retirés @drpimplepopperfans . Du coup il était déjà 10h et j'ai eu envie d'un petit déjeuner salé. Pain toasté houmous rapide et avocat le tout saupoudré de graines de sésame grillées 💕😍🥰😎 résultat, je me suis mise au travail en pleine forme ! One of these mornings when you just feel like taking care of yourself before working. I started the day with my usual rooibos tea in bed. Then i deeped cleaned my skin with nivea patches. I hadn't done it for a long time so i was really satisfied when i stripped them off @drpimplepopperfans . So then it was already 10am and i felt like a savoury breakfast.
