@ramit said it best: "Every day I see a fascinating phenomenon.
People say they want Goal X - to lose weight, pay off debt, start a business - but when given the opportunity, most find a reason not to do it.
Price, Time, Whatever.
The next day, they're back to wondering why they can't achieve X." ************ We are all looking for something every single day.
Whether it's to solve a problem or move forward in a particular area... ...we are looking for the solution or the guide to direct us.
That's why we sign up for the webinars, join the FB groups, attend the events, become part of the Mastermind, download the freebie, or hire the coach.
When I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes of a very well-established and successful coaching and online training company from 2013 - 2016, it was like having a magnifying glass on human nature.
During my time in that role, I observed nearly 1,000 people over the course of 9 cycles of various year long programs.
And I witnessed the ENTIRE process from participants attending webinars - to having a sales call with the team - to joining the program - to how they utilized the program - to the results they achieved during the program.
I've also studied with other coaches and have gained insight on what goes on in other companies and programs.
It looks like this:
Initially, on a webinar (or any other freebie) BEFORE someone purchases a program, they say things like, "My time is now!", "I can feel something BIG is about to happen for me!", "YES, this is exactly what I want!" Confidence is at an all time high in that moment.
Then, excited people with dreams and goals sign up for a sales call.
50% or more come to the sales call and by the end of the call came up with one of these top 3 reasons why they can't go ALL IN on their dreams and goals:
1. I don't have time right now with this, that and the other I've got going on.
2. I don't have the money.
3. My husband won't let me.
And the unspoken objection = I doubt I'll actually do the work required to change my life. (CONTINUED IN COMMENTS)
