alot of women’s favorite excuse is that they don’t want to lose weight because they’ll lose all their curves! i admit— i’m guilty of feeling that way too at one point. however, truth is... you could barely even see how banging my curves really were underneath all the fat i had! losing weight actually brought the curves out more! because the more weight i gained.. the bigger my ass got.. but so did the rest of my body! like my stomach, my arms, my cellulite increased, my double chin/no neck— just to name a few. so yeah, since i’ve lost weight, i did lose some ass... but is it really that serious?!! lol, hmm maybe. fat is gonna come off your body in different places at different rates! so if your ass or thighs is first to go 🤷🏻‍♀️😹. sorry. give it some time. the rest of your body will catch up! you’ll be glad you kept at it in the end anyway. 😻 trust me! it’s better to be a few sizes down, more energized, more toned & still curvy with less ass.... than to be two whole tons, tired asf, fat everywhere else, still unhappy with your body overall.. just to keep your “fat” wide ass lol. also, if you’re a curvy chick by nature, then you’re a curvy chick. so it doesn’t matter if you lose 50 or 200 pounds. if your body is meant to be curvy, you’ll still be curvy! just on a smaller frame! so stop making excuses girl & get yo life!!!!! here’s some ways i was able to lose 100+ pounds & stay curvy: 🥒focus on shrinking my tummy with lowcarb/low sugar foods. 🥚eating high protein. 💧drinking nothing but water + tea & coffee. no added sugars. (yes i drink liquor. but either straight/on the rocks with lime or a zero calorie/zero carb chaser). 🥑eat HEALTHY fats. 🤸🏻‍♀️dance for cardio. Well this is a fun transformation. LOL. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I don't think anyone who knows me would ever expect I'd have this picture. Arrived back in Belgium this morning after what felt like a day of travelling 😴😴 I’ve no gym membership for the remainder of my stay here so in order to keep active I’ve decided against buying a bus pass for the month and walking everywhere💁🏽‍♀️ Also as the weather has started to get so nice here I’m gonna try take up running again because some of the parks here in liege are gorgey af 🤩 Happy Thursday loves x

Life begins to change when you give yourself a permission slip to make mistakes. And I'm not just talking "little oopsies" that are easy to admit to the world, like breaking that fancy candle in Anthropologie. (100% not hypothetical there. 😉) I used to live frozen by the fear of failure in several areas of my life… the fear that my work wouldn’t be ____________ enough, or worse, that I wasn’t ___________ enough. And I’ve talked to many friends who have the most brilliant ideas/products/services that will transform lives... but they keep putting them back on the shelf out of fear. It’s so obvious to the people around them that they have something incredible to offer the world, but the “what ifs” keep them from taking action. Now I still don’t have all the answers, but I can testify that focusing on transforming my mindset on failure has brought growth to areas of my life that had been dormant for years! In his brilliant book “Failing Forward”, John C. Maxwell says, “If you’re not failing, you’re probably not really moving forward. ... Failure is fertilizer. It stinks, but it sure makes things grow faster.” I’m learning how to get excited about putting myself in positions where I may ‘fail’ because of the gift of transformation that the lesson(s) from that it will bring! I even began to challenge myself to do something scared once a week and write about it in a journal every Sunday evening. Again, I’m still a student in this area, but figured a friend on here might need “permission” to do something scared today… someone is waiting for what you have to give! | p.s. thank you so much to @carina.danielle for snapping this in the orchards of @delightandbe... I just traded in the mountains of Banff for lush Washington state to help speak/lead at the Delight Retreat this week with some incredible women photographers and business owners from all over the country!

@okroxanna told me this was pinterest material, so i am going back to the root of shan shrinks and posting my food hehe 💞 • for yesterday’s lunch, i had a sandwich with turkey n swiss cheese on @daveskillerbread, the beefiest red grapes i’ve ever seen, and @dannon light n fit vanilla greek yogurt with @gethappyinside blueberry cereal as granola! i’ve never tried their cereal before, but this was so good! • in total: 490 calories, 70g carb, 11g fat, 37g protein!

Right well after 2 weeks on holiday gorging on goodies like McDonald’s and Krispy kremes, the diet starts again tomorrow. I want to exercise as well as stick to 1200 cal a day l. I’ve recently been laid up with a bad back so will start of gently. I need a hardcore week on plan as we’re off to (whispers as it’s a surprise for the kids) Disneyland Paris (shhhh!!) next week, but we’ll forget about that for now 🙈 salad for lunch tomorrow prepped already. This is a much better way to look at it. It’s not that I can’t have candy bars or onion rings, because I could go get some right now; it’s that I don’t WANT to because it isn’t worth it to me! I have found that when I look at eating healthy as something I am forced to do, it makes it so much harder. This doesn't have anything to do with fitness but believe it or not, there is more to life than the gym 😉 - Went to Ireland over Easter. Participated in Dublin and Belfast on commemorations of the 1916 Easter Rising. It was a rebellion to end British rule over Ireland. - I'm interested in history and I'm a firm believer of freedom and democracy. So I'm more than happy to support human rights and people who fight for their freedom. - After 800 years most of Ireland is finally free from British rule. Unfortunately six counties in the north of Ireland is still occupied by Britain. - Notice the big wall on pic 4. There are walls all over Belfast and other cities in the six counties. It's sad that people have to live separated by walls in year 2019.. but this is the reality that exists thanks to the British occupation. - I hope one day all of Ireland will be free and that they will have peace ✌

I’m back and better than evaaa💁🏽‍♀️ After not going the gym and having a proper leg work out, the first session back was amazing! Hitting PR’s left, right and centre! Ya girl leg pressed 200kg again (total: 248kg including the machine itself) . Last lift of this weight was back in 14th July 2018. This felt amazing. I couldn’t thank my gym buddy enough for motivating me to hit the number again!! More PR’s to come✨

I’m the biggest dork… I can’t even look at myself in these videos! But I’m not doing a lot of cardio these days… maybe once a week for a few minutes…instead you can find me jumping around on benches or doing random things like that! My focus right now is to even out any balances and gain some muscle! After having kids I ended up with a blown disk and a curved spine… A few muscle imbalances and needed a lot of work to strengthen my core! I am always cautious of my previous issues and still work continually to make sure I always have good form and lift appropriately! So important 👌🏻💪🏻

My uncle had stop breathing and had lived his last moments here on earth. • I am so happy and grateful that I stopped by last time I was home to see you. I remember him saying “nephew why you out here scamming people on Facebook ?” I tried to explain to him what Forex was and he had no ideal what I was talking about. Told him I was about to become the first millionaire in our family. He laughed and told me he’d see me next time I came home. We said our goodbyes and I had no thought about that being our last conversation here on earth. - This “trading stuff” is a movement and we haven’t even begun. I dag hadde jeg en skikkelig aha opplevelse på trening. Jeg pleier vanligvis å trene i vanlig joggesko eller løpe sko, men vet mange som trener styrke bruker flate sko så i dag tenkte jeg at jeg skulle teste det. Og det var litt av en opplevelse. Sliter ofte med balanse når jeg tar feks utfall, men i dag var det null problem. Og forrige ben økt hvor jeg brukte joggesko klarte jeg 4 kg kettlebell når jeg tok sumosquats, i dag klarte jeg 16!!! Uten problem. I have spent a good chunk of my morning trying to mentally prepare myself to workout. . Two doses of my “go go juice” later and I’m starting to feel the urge to get that workout in! . Usually I’m a one dose kinda girl but apparently not today 🤦‍♀️ . I slept in today... so it was a slow start to begin with. . Then I look at my to do list and it just turns me off even more. . There is so much to do right now it’s crazy. Inside and outside of the house. School work. My personal business. . And then FINALLY I get the motivation in to go workout. Slip on the first tank top/ muscle shirt I see. . It’s this old sheer shirt I bought many moons ago. . And the reason I bought it? . I was so self conscious at the beach. I would wear oversized shirts overtop of my bathing suit and go swimming in that. . I felt gross. I was ashamed. I hated my body. I just wanted to cover it up because of how embarrassed I was of myself. . I don’t want to feel like that anymore! And that’s why I do this. That’s why I workout. That’s why I eat healthy. . I fucking want to feel confident at the beach. . I’m done hiding. It’s time to be me. . After this workout, I’m throwing this shirt out. . That life is in the past. I’m ready for my future! . I’m making my future. It will be POSTIVE. It will be CONFIDENT. It will be FIT. It will be HEALTHY. . No more hiding at the beach. I want to go swimming!!!

Day 2 of my #6weekchallenge is done ✅ . . On the #couchto10k that I am following, day 2 is supposed to be easy. This works out great because I had to get up suuuper early to spend the entire day at work. . . . Really didn’t love heading to the gym before 7am. Haha . . .
