👉🏼CALORIE DEFICIT👈🏼 From now on I will try and do more posts educating you guys on nutrition and training. I’ve been so busy with clients it’s hard to find time to write long posts BUT I want to help as many of you guys as possible so I am going to try my best. So let’s start with a calorie deficit. It’s easy to forget that a lot of you are like what the hell does that mean and this is the only thing that actually matters for fat loss (although health is also very important to focus on). All this means is your energy out is greater than your energy in - meaning you are able to lose body fat. There are two main ways to do this. 1. Decrease your calories 2. Increase your activity I always recommend a combination of the two because our bodies need fuel and nutrition to survive so we don’t want to cut calories too low. This method whereby calories are super low isn’t sustainable because it’s not fun dieting hard and your metabolism will adapt by slowing you down physically. You will naturally do less activity without even realising and your rate of fat loss will slow down/plateau.Therefore the best way is to have a small deficit of calories and increase your daily activity. THE HOW ➡️Work our your maintenance calories (there’s calculators online) and minus 20% which will be a moderate calorie deficit. If you’re very active/an athlete/are already quite lean and training then you could try 10% so as to not impact on your training too much. This will be your starting calories - track this everyday and stick to it. ➡️Set your protein goal as 2-2.5g protein per kg body weight and hit this everyday. ➡️Increase your consumption of vegetables/fibre. ➡️Set yourself a step goal and achieve it everyday - ideally between 8,000-15,000. ➡️Aim to exercise 3-5 times per week in whatever way is achievable for you. Anzeige | A photograph is worth a thousand words, but Photoshop can produce a thousand lies. . —————————— Bisschen Real Talk.. —————————— Jetzt ist es raus👀..ich habe meine Haare nicht gefärbt, sondern einfach bearbeitet😂. Warum auch nicht, wenn man innerhalb von Minuten mal schauen kann, welche Haarfarbe einem steht und welche nicht🤷🏽‍♀️. Das Foto mit dem #newhair hatte ich nur in meiner Story gepostet, weil ich wissen wollte, wie ihr drauf reagiert bzw. ob es sogar jemandem auffällt, dass es nur bearbeitet ist. Natürlich war das ein sehr harmloses Foto/Beispiel. Filter, Retusche, richtige Belichtung, Photoshop...ist das nicht irgendwie verrückt, dass man sich mittlerweile durch die ganzen Bildbearbeitungsprogramme innerhalb von Minuten komplett verändern bzw. neu modellieren kann? Ein volleres und größeres Dekolleté, ein größerer Hintern, eine schmalere Taille, etwas dünnere Beine usw. ..(mit der Haarfarbe zu spielen ist da hingegen nichts🤣) Erstaunlicherweise sehen die Fotos dann noch echt aus und vermitteln uns (vor allem Frauen) ein falsches Bild vom perfekten Körper. Ein Körper, welches ohne die richtige Belichtung, Filter und Photoshop nicht existieren würde. Lasst euch nicht blenden und vergesst nicht, dass das hier nur eine Scheinwelt ist, in der fast jeder versucht, sich von der besten Seite zu zeigen. Es gibt wenige auf Instagram, die sich nicht verstellen. Einigen Accounts folge ich auch schon seit knapp 3 Jahren ( @dj_isek , @flow_bu @lenaknk @evasaischegg , @dilara_cee @katrinkisner @xajx__ ) und kann nur sagen, dass diese Personen sich trotz ihrer Reichweite nicht verändert haben, authentisch & sympathisch geblieben sind und auch nicht von der Sorte sind, die einem versuchen zu vermitteln, dass alles immer perfekt laufen muss 🙏🏽 Habt einen schönen Abend💗. . One Skillet Steak Meal! . . . I learned how to make steaks by watching my dad. Take a hot skillet add half a cup of water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and a little bit of barbecue sauce. . . We use pork shoulder blade steaks. Rinse off steaks and place them in the skillet. Cook them for about 10-15 minutes per side. . . As usual Monday is Chest and Back. Today we had a fun little competition to break up the monotony of our workouts. Between my husband, brother and I we saw how long we could do a Bent Arm Hang. Yours truly was the winner with 36 seconds 😂 I also was proud of myself for getting 135lbs on the bench for 7 reps, almost to 10! Then I’ll need a new goal! I’m not much of a reader but to be successful you have to educate yourself. - It doesn’t matter what your doing, wether you’re in the heath and fitness industry, construction, automotive work, health care, financing, teaching, driving, the list is never ending, - Whatever it is that you do, you are going to need some form of education if you want to be successful!!!!! - I’ve been slacking on my nutrition course, I could give you 1000 excuses why but that doesn’t change the fact that the work hasn’t been getting done - So like anything else, I just need to get back on track, remember you can’t fuck up as long as you don’t give up - Set backs are pretty much guaranteed to happen, but when they happen it’s important not to let it get in the way of your big goal - Some days are easy, some days are hard, but as long as you wake up in the morning it’s a good day to keep moving forward. - Thanks for reading Love you guys 💪🍕🙏 . #fit #fitspo #fitness #fitnesstips #fitnessmotivation #educate #educateyourself #fitfam #nutrition #nutritioncoach #harfordcountymd

These were pretty cool to wake up to this morning. At the end of the day, records are just a bonus to the overall results and hard work we put in as athletes, and I am so grateful that I had a shot at attempting these at the expo. . I attempted 193kg exactly 1 year ago and at the time it was for the -63kg deadlift Aus record - I missed it. I was bummed and knew I'd come back and pull that weight one day. “Brown Rice Mushroom” is the perfect post- workout meal especially if you’re tried of eating “Chicken Rice”. Here how: Stir through some browned mushrooms at the end – So brown them, then remove them, and add some of them back in at the end. This is because the mushrooms that are cooked with the rice lose their caramelisation. Rice is stained brown from the mushrooms – If you cook the mushrooms on high heat and brown them nicely, the base of the pot will basically be entirely brown.
