#repost @pheasyque ・・・ ⭕️2 STEPS DEADLIFT⭕️ - While I always try to teach the Deadlift as a "one movement lift", I can fairly say that if we want to be "very very detailed", we could actually divide it as a 2 steps movement. - Number 1️⃣: Going from set up to creating pre-pulling tension (upper body dominant): this is probably the most important step of the deadlift, which can seriously make it or break it. Creating a solid base at "step 1" will allow you to perform the perfect deadlift, if all things are done correctly: - As you set up, you want to pull the slack out of the barbell (so allowing the bar to adhere to the upper portion of the plates' holes - you should hear a "click" of the bar when doing this) while keeping the arms straight and sticking your chest out by pulling your shoulderblades down and back. - 💡💡💡THE BAR IS STILL ON THE GROUND. 💡💡💡 - Yes. Everything of the above HAS TO be performed WHILE the barbell is STILL ON the ground. Creating the "Pre-pulling tension" means to create the tension BEFORE the actual pull, so you have to do this BEFORE the lift. - Number 2️⃣: The execution/the lift (lower body dominant). - If you've done everything on step 1 (and I mean everything) you're now ready to pull the barbell up. - How? By simply pushing the ground away from your feet. And that's it. - Most of the work is actually done on step (1) which is also the step nobody pys attention to, where you need to create the strongest base for you to lift from. - Step (2) is literally just pushing your feet through the ground. - 🔥🔥🔥TAG somebody who needs to see this!

Grilled Smokey Mashed Potato, Kale & Cheese Sandwiches by @wickedhealthy 🌱 A cheesy vegan snack full of green goodness! Recipe ✨ Ingredients: •2 T Plant based butter, room temp⠀ 3 T Kale, chopped pre steamed and cold (any left over greens will do)⠀ 1/4 C Smokey mashers (using Heidi Ho Smokey cheese)⠀ 3 Field Roast Chao Cheese slices, Cayenne-Tomato •Whole Grain bread (two pieces per sandwich) go figure.⠀ Salt and pepper⠀ ⠀ How to make:⠀ warm up the left over mashers -⠀ Lay two pieces of bread side by each, butter evenly on one side of each slice and face that down, this is the outside of sandwich. Add plant based cheese to each piece, add a healthy scoop of warmed mashers, a small handful of kale, salt and pepper then cover with the other half of the sandwich bread and cheese. ⠀ Grill in cast iron or skillet on med. heat with a little butter in there (1 tsp), wait until it’s melted before adding the sandwich. ONE OF MY BIGGEST MISTAKES..... Past couple weeks I was thinking about last years prep and what I was doing differently than this year. And the main thing I could think of is I was doing ACV liquid form and this year I tried the pills. Let me tell you there is a big difference. Past 2 weeks I have been using the liquid form and I can totally tell a difference. I feel tighter, leaner, less GI issues, and carving are gone. I really wish I would have remembered the liquid form sooner but definitely learned a lesson from it. Lately I have been mixing it in my preworkout, and BCAAs in the morning.

Happy almost weekend!! Last nights dinner was a vegan, gluten free, yellow Thai curry 🤤. I used Yai Thai sauce from @wholefoods and purple forbidden rice noodles. I added some extra coconut cream, honey and a little salt to the sauce and all the sautéed veggies and legumes I could think of! Last weekend, I took two full days off the gym, drank some 🍷, and ate a 🍔. Am I worried about it? No- because this week it’s back to my regular healthy meals and workout schedule. Did I enjoy myself? Estoy en un punto donde a veces pienso si el camino de las personas que quiero es mi camino, si seguirlos estaría bien. Si seguirlos me encontraría. Si seguirlos estaría a salvo y protegida de todo mal tiempo. Pero ahora me doy más que cuenta, que vayan donde vayan, no tengo que forzarme a seguir el camino que no es para mi. Vivimos en una sociedad donde intentamos ser justo igual que los demás. De pertenecer a algo o alguien o a un determinado grupo de personas. Pero no, ese no es mi camino, tengo deseos de ir por cualquier lugar; equivocarme, acertar y volver a equivocarme. Aprendo mucho cuando caigo y me levanto mucho más fuerte. A veces es acertado seguir unas pautas, pero aveces no, pautas que te ponen o te dicen que esto es así, porque si. Pero no, haz lo que te dé la gana. Es tu vida, solo tú eliges como quieres caer y como quieres levantarte. Ahora decido buscarme más que nunca. Buscarme por las calles, buscarme junto a amigos, buscarme junto a mi familia, buscarme junto a mi perrito 😊😊; buscarme en cualquier sitio y donde sea; sin necesidad de esperar la aprobación de alguien. Búscate y verás que al final podrás encontrarte. Pero búscate a ti mismo, no a nadie más. Que eso viene de regalo luego o de suerte, quien sabe. La vida va y viene. Simplemente coge fuerzas de lo mínimo que te haga feliz y verás que podrás ser tu propia felicidad. 🌗

THIS 🤤 dairy free & grain free DARK CHOCOLATE CHUNK & FIG COOKIE SKILLET, inspired by @rachaelsgoodeats✨ . 👉🏻2 eggs • 6 tbsp honey • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil• 1/3 cup raw almond butter & 1/3 cup tahini• 2 tsp vanilla extract• 2 tbsp canned coconut milk• 2 cup almond meal• 1/4 cup (or two packets) collagen peptides (completely optional. I use @sportsresearch . They dissolve right away in the batter)• 1/2 tsp baking soda• 1 dark chocolate bar to break apart and layer on top of batter (I love @hukitchen dark sea salt chocolate) and (optional) handful of semi sweet chocolate chunks for insides the batter• 1/4 cup chopped figs for top of the batter• 1/2 tsp sea salt . This recipe is for a bigger sized skillet. Simply cut recipe in half if you’re using a smaller 8-10inch pan. Preheat oven to 325*. Combine all the wet ingredients & then add in the dry ingredients. Add chocolate bar & figs on top before baking 15-25 minutes (check on it by dipping a fork in the middle & making sure the fork comes out clean) 🍪 🙌🏻

🇬🇧Cheese pasta (part 1/4) - recipe For this one in fact I was planning to empty the fridge as some friends left some cheese in it and forgot to get it back.. And the best way to get rid of blue cheese is to have it with pastas.. As there was some rice and salmon left from coulibiac then there was the base for the dish!! For the pastas I had also some bunch of basil to finish so hence the idea for the green color from the pastas!! . .. . INGREDIENTS - eggs - flour - basil - mix kasha/rice from coulibiac (check the recipe in some previous post) - fresh salmon - smoked salmon - cheeses (blue d'Auvergne/Fourme d'Ambert/Gorgonzola) - fresh cream - butter - mix of spices (coriander seeds, star anise, cardamom caps, few cloves and some schichimi mix) . .. . PROCESS First basil was wixed with some egg then added to the rest of the eggs to the flour to make the pastas. Then you just have to cook the salmon in one pan and when it starts being cooked you have to detach the small pieces of flesh to have some chunks of salmon.. Then add smoked salmon, spices and reduce the heat to cook it gently. In one other pan just put all cheeses, fresh cream and butter and put low heat and stir gently from time to time to have all cheeses melted together. We said, “Strike the rock with your staff.” Thereupon twelve springs gushed out from it, and each tribe recognized its drinking-place. “Eat and drink from God’s provision, and do not corrupt the earth with disobedience.” And recall when you said, “O Moses, we cannot endure one kind of food, so call to your Lord to produce for us of what the earth grows: of its herbs, and its cucumbers, and its garlic, and its lentils, and its onions.” He said, “Would you substitute worse for better? Go down to Egypt, where you will have what you asked for.” They were struck with humiliation and poverty, and incurred wrath from God. That was because they rejected God’s revelations and wrongfully killed the prophets. That was because they disobeyed and transgressed. And recall that We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh. They inflicted on you terrible persecution, killing your sons and sparing your women. Therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord. And recall that We parted the sea for you, so We saved you, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh as you looked on. And recall that We appointed for Moses forty nights. Then you took to worshiping the calf after him, and you turned wicked. Then We pardoned you after that, so that you might be grateful. And recall that We gave Moses the Scripture and the Criterion, so that you may be guided. And recall that Moses said to his people, “O my people, you have done wrong to yourselves by worshiping the calf. So repent to your Maker, and kill your egos. That would be better for you with your Maker.” So He turned to you in repentance. He is the Accepter of Repentance, the Merciful. And recall that you said, “O Moses, we will not believe in you unless we see God plainly.” Thereupon the thunderbolt struck you, as you looked on. Then We revived you after your death, so that you may be appreciative. And We shaded you with clouds, and We sent down to you manna and quails: “Eat of the good things We have provided for you.” They did not wrong Us, but they used to wrong their own souls. And recall that We said, “Enter this town, and eat plentifully from it whatever you wish; but enter the gate humbly, and say, 'Pardon.'
