🇱🇻 Rīga, Latvia: My three night itinerary to Rīga is live! Check it out at the link in my bio. It’s the first time I’ve published a day-by-day itinerary rather than just a city overview. It assumes you arrive Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday, but it can be adjusted for any days of the week! It still includes a map with all of my favorite spots. Huge thank you to @airBaltic for making this crazy last minute trip possible. Let me know below if you are considering a trip there!
If you happen to be visiting Riga during November, December, or early January, make sure to check out the Christmas markets both during the day and at night. My favorite, and seemingly the largest, was at Doma Laukums. There was live music most nights during our visit, and tons of food stands, from vegan food, to ramen, to chestnuts roasted on an open fire (my first time having them, so I got a kick out of singing the song!) You can buy clothing with traditional Latvian patterns on them, a Christmas ornament, children’s toys, local honey, you name it. It was just packed every night we were there, and we loved being part of the lively, cheerful crowd! [Taken December 31, 2018] #hungerlustlatvia #domalaukums #christmasmarket #airBaltic
