🌱Abusers will try to trigger you and bring you back to old behaviors because then they feel in control. Part of healing from old patterns is responding differently than you would have in the past. 🌱Taking deep breaths and staying present around people that typically trigger you will help keep you grounded. 🌱 It’s a learning process so don’t beat yourself up if you allow yourself to fall into old behaviors. Just get up dust yourself off and try again next time.❤️ The more you do it the more you’ll strengthen neural pathways of healthier actions.
