It is the day after the @esartcenter’s Annual Outdoor Art Show, and I’m really feeling this piece today—a bit of exhaustion, a lot of self-care. I took my son to school this morning and then came home and slept for three hours. Now I’m at the doctor’s office waiting to see how I can get this shoulder to heal so I can get a good night’s sleep.
But don’t think I’m just sitting here whining. It was a really phenomenal weekend. I met so many amazing people from near and far. If you are one of them, say hello in the comments. I’m so happy you are here. Connecting with each of you was so amazing.
It is going to take me the rest of the week to catch up, but don’t worry—I’m not going silent. I’m leading a special Figure Drawing session tomorrow night with a model who is six-months pregnant. So keep an eye out for those drawings later this week.
But for now, I’m going back to some determined self-care.
P.s. This drawing got a lot of love this weekend, but she is still in my care. If you think she belongs with you (or you need a limited edition print of her), give me a shout, and let’s figure it out.
