I’ll be honest… I’m naturally flexible, BUT I have next to NO upper body strength. It is something I struggle with (as you’ll see if you scroll through!). Yes, these shots are beautiful, but I wanted to share because this is during a peak time in my life where I challenged myself physically and stayed disciplined. HOWEVER- my current state is much more sedentary because of studies, beginning a new career, blah, blah, excuses, excuses. 😂🤷🏻♀️ But real talk- something I am about to do is to bring back my discipline with the fitness aspect of health. (Insert my incredible sister/personal trainer @smashley_26.2)
I grew up a dancer. So, yoga was just a natural progression for me. Now I’m trying to get more into strength training, body weights, and all those things that make you strong and ninja like (new goal). 🧘🏻♀️🤸🏻♂️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also, this Oregon winter has me SO missing the #beachlife .
