When I was a teen I wanted to be an archaeologist. Then I got a teacher who let’s just say has a good heart but it wasn’t in sharing his knowledge at that time.
So my interest in history dwindled a bit until I studied architecture and I just loved learning about old buildings. Especially roman architecture so I am super excited to be going to Rome in May!
At the moment I’m really interested in Irish history. When I look at the mountains around where I live I can see the trails people walked, the ruins of houses and stone walls that were the boundaries of peoples homesteads. There’s so much to learn and explore. And so much to teach the boys!
