Thinking about how little wins have been in the forefront of my mind lately, and how it’s helped me stay positive and focused. It’s so freakin easy to get overwhelmed if I look too far ahead, and I think the same goes for many others too. •
We have this habit of taking it all in at once. We stare at that mountain of to-do lists and challenges ahead and it’s just too damn much. I’m learning that when that heavy feeling starts to come on, there’s really only one way out. Unclench my fists, take a deep breath, and look at that one little thing that I can do right now. How can I work with what I have and where I’m at? •
Asking those kinds of questions immediately reframes my mindset, and once I complete a few small tasks, I’m encouraged to keep on going until suddenly I look back and realize I actually made some solid progress. •
This is all just a reminder to myself (and hopefully at least one or two of you) that accomplishing those big goals will always start with a checklist of small, tedious tasks. But once you gain that forward-moving momentum, there’s really nothing stopping you from going all the way.
