As a members club, all operational matters at Brechin City FC are overseen by our 8-person Management Committee. An opportunity has arisen for a member (ie, a season ticket holder) to join this band of hard-working volunteers, and submissions of interest are invited now in advance of the Club’s 2019 AGM scheduled for 10th July 2019.
Club Members wishing to consider this can speak informally to any existing Committee Member or submit either an early stage notification or formal notification to secretary @brechincityfc.com .
In either instance individuals should clearly state what skills and attributes can be brought to The Club. Given the skillsets being sought at present, those with knowledge and experience in Accountancy, Financial Administration or Commercial Development would be particularly welcome – along with members with a passion for Community Engagement. However, Club Members with other skillsets are also encouraged to step forward.
In order to replace Dr Alistair Shaw, who has stood down after a lengthy period of time supporting The Club in this role, Brechin City FC is now looking to appoint a new Club Doctor for the coming season.
The primary responsibility is to provide match-day cover at home games, so the time commitment isn’t huge – although having a suitably qualified medical practitioner in place is a mandatory element of National Club Licencing – an obligation for all SPFL clubs.
