Nothing much changed on the outside. Bikini, Cowboy hat, sunglasses, enjoying island life.. Maybe a few lines more and the body may changed a bit. Eventough the outside was better now I feel much better with myself and in myself. Aging might not be the best physically but its sooo interesting to develop yourself, keep growing, getting more insights, more knowlegde, more wisdom. For that I love aging. Life is about overcoming yourself. Step by step evolving into a better version of yourself.
During that trip in Thailand I found out I really wanted an international life. 10 Years later I finally have that international life. Im a late bloomer but better that than to die away early. It only gets better and better. And the best is yet to come!
10 Years ago people were more in touch with each other, more socially connected. I was traveling alone and got in touch everywhere with people; I never felt really alone. Conversations started easily and stories were shared. People need connection, bonding. But nowadays when you go to a beach you watch your phone and when you look around you see other people watching their phone, so you watch it again also. You are in touch with your 'friends' on Facebook or followers on Instagram by showing some pictures of your current experiences. And if you would like to meet somebody for romantic purpose you swipe to the left or right. Its future technology, it serves us but it also makes us socially less open to meet new people. Myself Im guilty as well but my concerns are most with people now in their 20's, who grow up with things as cyberbullying, ghosting, catfishing. Using the internet to hurt other people's feelings. Cold and heartless as that.
What worries me even most is our planet, our soil, our sources. The introduction of plastic brought us far, but see what it does now to our oceans, to our waters. Plastic reduces into microplatics, our fishes eat that, its in our water so it finally infects our health. The big industries cause major climate changes that are really big problems and also what the modern radiations do with our health is of a big concern.
