Who’s still training on this long weekend!? I love it! Swear there were only 10 people in the gym when I was 😂💕 . I’m always in 2 minds about doing a leg session or a glute session or 2 in 1... but I went for predominantly legs (and threw in some cheeky sumo squats 😅). But anyways I’m looking forward to the rest of the warm weekend! Mainly because it involves food! 😛😋 . Also what is this awkward hand on hip pose idk 😭

I can feel it, I believe it and I’m ready for it. . . . It’s taken me an awful long time(all my life)to get to where I am right now... happy and comfortable with who I am. I am, for the first time, confident in my physical, mental and emotional appearance/state of mind. I have walked through the lowest valleys and come out on the other side. I have proven to myself just how strong, resilient and worthy I am. I know what it feels like to lose all hope and give up. I have seen the darkest of days. 💫I have made a vow to myself and my children to NEVER allow myself to get to that place EVER again. It is truly AMAZING the wonderful things that come from making better choices, having a clear mind, letting go of control and turning it over to him🙏🏻and living in the moment. Her fucking dry cleaner!! Told her!! That she got!! Fat!!! In what world is a telling a random person that acceptable?? . . I think there’s a big misconception that body image issues and body shaming occurs mainly in the younger generations. Maybe because we’re more open to talking about it? Not sure, but quick reminder. No matter your age, keep your negative comments to yourself. And remember that people love to project their own insecurities onto others. It’s not a reflection of you when you get comments like that, it’s a reflection of who’s saying it. Speed an stabilization work. Bamboo or earthquake poles, definitely wouldn’t use them all the time, but it’s nice to hang some KBs from them and let the pendulum effect take its course. Shoulders have been my weakest muscles for years because when I start adding weight I always hurt something. So my way to keep them growing with the rest of my body is to overload reps to get a nice tight toned shoulder. Swipe for a real transformation👏🏼👏🏼 The first video was my first ever attempt at a 200kg hip thrust and it makes me cringe watching it😖 The second video is me repping 200kg for 8 reps with some ease if I’m honest. There are 11 months between these two videos and I actually look tiny in the first video but despite my body transformation, I have gained some serious strength💪🏼 - - - For me getting stronger definitely trumps any aesthetic goals that I have now💁🏼‍♀️ I remember after my first attempt thinking, oh my god that is so heavy I am never going to be able to lift that and now look🤷🏼‍♀️ Achieving goals, whatever the may be, takes time, patience and consistency - just stick and it and you won’t regret it when you’re reaping the benefits🤪
