Remember when meeting someone off the internet was seen as a death sentence? I had a friend years ago and his sister would always be traveling into Toronto to see guys she met off the internet and I remember saying "dude, how can you let your sister do that, she's gonna die, most guys on the internet are serial killers." Well, as it turns out, she was just ahead of the curve as she's still very much alive today. Not only that, but I can't even remember the last time I genuinely met someone in "real life." I'm still taken aback when I'm talking to someone and they suggest we spend a weekend in the backcountry as our first meeting. Though considering 99% of the people who suggest this could kick my ass and end my life in an instant if they want I guess I should be the one worried about meeting strangers on the internet, but it's worked out so far, so I'll just keep doing it until i end up on the side of a milk carton. Here's Olga standing on a mountain a day after we met in a parking lot for the first time.
